Ministry of Industry and Trade Announces Appointment Decisions for the Leadership Board of Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade

On July 2, 2026, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Industry and Trade held a formal ceremony to announce and present appointment decisions for leadership positions at universities under the Ministry.

At the ceremony, the Ministry's leadership presented the appointment decision reappointing Meritorious Teacher, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hoan as President of Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade. The Ministry also presented appointment decisions to Meritorious Teacher, Associate Professor, Dr. Le Thi Hong Anh and Dr. Thai Doan Thanh, reappointing them as Vice Presidents of the University.

The consolidation of the University's Executive Board marks an important milestone, strengthening HUIT's leadership and governance capacity at a time when higher education is facing the imperative of comprehensive reform in response to digital transformation, green transition, and deeper international integration.

In line with the directives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the University's leadership reaffirmed its commitment to fostering unity, responsibility, innovation, and creativity while steadfastly pursuing a sustainable development philosophy centered on learners, grounded in quality, and driven by innovation.

Looking ahead, the University's Executive Board will continue to uphold institutional discipline and promote transparency and accountability under the autonomous university governance model. At the same time, HUIT will further enhance the quality of education, strengthen scientific research and technology transfer, and expand cooperation with industry partners and domestic and international institutions.
