The Admission Council of Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade (HUIT) hereby announces the enrollment regulations for the full-time undergraduate programs in 2026 as follows:I. GENERAL INFORMATION1.1. Eligibility Requirements

Candidates who have graduated from a high school or vocational high school in Vietnam, or possess a foreign high school diploma recognized as equivalent. Candidates holding a vocational diploma in the same field of study must have fully completed all high school academic knowledge requirements as prescribed by law.

Candidates must meet the health standards currently in force for academic study.

Admission Method 1 (PT1): Evaluation based on the 2026 High School Graduation Exam results.

Admission Method 2 (PT2): Evaluation based on High School Academic Records (Transcripts for Grades 10, 11, and 12).

Admission Method 3 (PT3): Evaluation based on the 2026 Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT/Competency Assessment) organized by Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City.

Admission Method 4 (PT4): Direct admission as per the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Admission Method 5 (PT5): Evaluation combining the 2026 Specialized Competency Assessment test results from Ho Chi Minh City University of Education with High School Academic Records.

II. QUALITY ASSURANCE ENTRANCE THRESHOLDS (CUT-OFF MARKS)The quality assurance entrance threshold refers to the minimum proficiency requirements demonstrated through academic records or examination/assessment results required for candidates to enroll and successfully complete the training program.2.1. For Candidates Who Graduated in 2025 or Earlier:a) Law and Economic Law Majors:Candidates must meet the admission criteria stated in Decision No. 678/QĐ-BGDĐT dated March 14, 2025, by the Minister of Education and Training regarding undergraduate training standards for the Law domain. Simultaneously, candidates must satisfy the quality assurance entrance threshold stipulated and announced by the University under the current MOET admission regulations, specifically:

The total score of the 3 subjects in the chosen combination must reach 20.00 points or higher for PT2 and PT5, or 720 points or higher for PT3.

The admission score for Mathematics must be at least 6.0 and Literature must be at least 6.0, OR Literature must be at least 6.0.

The overall grade point average (GPA) for the entire Grade 12 year must be rated "Good" (học lực Giỏi) or higher (for vocational high school graduates and equivalents, the academic performance of the final two semesters will be evaluated).
b) For All Other Majors/Training Programs:Admissions follow the quality assurance entrance thresholds set and published by the University in accordance with current MOET admission regulations:

The total score of the 3 subjects in the chosen combination must reach 20.00 points or higher (standard full-time undergraduate programs) or 18.00 points or higher (international joint programs) for PT2 and PT5; and 600 points or higher for PT3.
2.2. For Candidates Graduating in 2026:a) Law and Economic Law Majors:Candidates registering for Law and Economic Law must meet the requirements of Decision No. 678/QĐ-BGDĐT dated March 14, 2025, by the Minister of Education and Training, Circular No. 06/2026/TT-BGDĐT dated February 15, 2026, by the Ministry of Education and Training on Admission Regulations, and the university-announced thresholds:

PT1: To be explicitly specified after the Ministry of Education and Training announces the 2026 High School Graduation Examination results. Candidates must meet the following minimum conditions:

A total score of 18.00 points or higher for the 3 subjects in the high school graduation exam combination.

A minimum score of 6.0 in Mathematics and 6.0 in Literature.

PT2, PT3, PT5: Candidates must fulfill the following criteria:

A total score of 20.00 points or higher for PT2 and PT5, or 720 points or higher for PT3.

A minimum score of 6.0 in Mathematics and 6.0 in Literature, OR a minimum score of 6.0 in Literature.

The overall GPA for the entire Grade 12 year must be rated "Good" (học lực Giỏi) or higher (or the final two semesters for vocational equivalents).

b) For All Other Majors/Training Programs:

Candidates must achieve a total minimum score of 15.00 points across the 3 subjects of the High School Graduation Examination (or vocational graduation exam) in the admission year within their chosen subject combination (or using Mathematics, Literature, and another exam subject). (This rule does not apply to candidates granted special high school graduation exemptions or those stipulated under Clause 1, Clause 2 (points a, c, d, e), Clause 3, and Clause 4 of Article 8 of the University's Full-time Undergraduate Admission Regulations).

Converted English scores are solely used to calculate the total admission score for the subject combination; they cannot be used to satisfy the initial quality assurance entrance threshold.

English certificates must be valid and within 02 years from the date of issuance up to June 20, 2026, and organized by test providers licensed by MOET.

The Admission Council will only convert English scores for candidates who submit a valid certificate. Candidates are solely responsible for the authenticity of their submitted credentials.

Score conversion is only applicable to Method 1 (High School Graduation Exam results) and Method 2 (High School Academic Records for Grades 10, 11, and 12).
3.3. Regulations for Incentive Points (Bonus Points)Target Candidates: Students from high schools that have signed a formal cooperation agreement with HUIT or students from specialized high schools (trường chuyên) are eligible for bonus incentive points when applying:

Direct admission candidates wishing to enroll at HUIT must register their choice as Preference 1 (Nguyện vọng 1) on the MOET System. If a candidate registers multiple successful preferences, the result will default to the highest preference.

Following MOET and University regulations, admitted direct-admission students under Article 8 will receive a 100% tuition fee exemption for the 1st semester and a living allowance support of 3,000,000 VND/month. For subsequent semesters, these benefits will continue provided the student maintains an academic performance tier of "Good" (Giỏi) or higher and completes required community service works.
3.5. Wishlist Registration and Contact Information3.5.1. Admissions will be processed from the highest scores downward until the enrollment quota is met. In the event of a tie-score at the cutoff, priority will be given to candidates with higher scores in Mathematics, Literature, or English (corresponding to each major's combination).

If a tie persists after applying the secondary subject criteria, order priority will favor the candidate with fewer incentive points; if incentive points are equal, priority goes to the higher preference order.

The University does not conduct early admission. All final admission results will be announced according to the national timeframe outlined by MOET.

Candidates hold full and legal responsibility for the accuracy of all registered details—including personal information, geographical region, priority target groups, and supporting documents.

During verification or post-admission review, if any discrepancies are discovered between the student's declarations and the data uploaded by high schools to the MOET portal, the admission offer will be revoked.
